You can upload files from your computer directly into the Sagan Drive (and a Sagan) by dragging the file from your computer’s file explorer (Finder on Mac) and into the Sagan.
With the Saganworks web app in Sagan View, open your file explorer in a new window. Drag 1 or more files from your file explorer window into the Saganworks window and into a Sagan. These local files will now be uploaded to your Sagan Drive
You'll notice that the File Upload Indicator appears after dropping the files into the Sagan. This number will increment as files are added to the Sagan and go down as files are uploaded to the Sagan Drive.
Please note: Wait for this indicator to go away before leaving Saganworks to reduce chance of data loss. Depending on the number/size of files and your internet speed, this upload will take varying amounts of time. You can monitor the status of your upload by using the Uploader icon at the top right of the screen. Uploading files will be represented with a number and loading symbol.
Also note: Once uploaded to the Sagan Drive, any updates you make to the file(s) themselves will not be reflected in the Sagan Drive. To delete a file from the Sagan Drive, check out Deleting Files from your Sagan Drive
