Museums and curators use Saganworks to reach their audiences virtually, creating simple,
intuitive, easy-to-build exhibits that are explored and shared online. To get started with making
an exhibit with Saganworks, see the FAQ below.
How do I get my content into Saganworks?
Are your digital assets already online? You can use the Saganworks Chrome Extension to bring your web links into Sagans. Viewers double-clicking the link within the Sagan will open the web page in a new tab.
Or, if you would rather add assets as files (i.e. documents or images), those can also easily be added to a Sagan as well by uploading to the Sagan Drive: https://saganworks.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040575051-Uploading-files-to-the-Sagan-Drive
What is the best approach to designing an exhibit?
Like many real-world curation projects, it can be helpful to start an exhibit design with a sketch
from a bird's eye view. Here is an example of Project Curator Samantha Johnson’s exhibit
design for The Henry Ford's Entrepreneurship Sagan:

What if I have 3D models I want brought into the app?
Currently we do not offer self-serve 3D model importing, however we have a talented art team skilled in translating external models into Saganworks. To find out more on how to do this, check out our Business Solutions and schedule a time with our team by reaching out to email@example.com
What if I want to design the room as well?
Our talented art team is capable of creating amazing experiences. To find out more on how to do this, check out our Business Solutions and schedule a time with our team by reaching out to firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I make my Sagan accessible to our users?
Currently, there are a couple of ways to do this. Some museums choose to make their Sagans public to the community, meaning anyone with a Saganworks account can access them. Others pay to embed the Sagan on their website (no Saganworks account needed), as part of our Business plan.
